This project aims to build a design environment for airborne SAR radars. The purpose of this is to enable a first test phase of the beam transmission and signal acquisition stages of the radar signal processing algorithms and image processing algorithms.
In order to achieve the mentioned objective, in the first instance, the raw signal received by the radar as a response to a beam transmitted with certain parameters while the aircraft is moving must be simulated. In a second stage, the singularities contributed by the real digital processing stages must be considered. The environment must also be capable of incorporating the processing algorithms to be ultimately incorporated into the airborne radar.
Finally, it is important to highlight that this project is directly inserted in an airborne SAR radar design project that is carried out in conjunction with the company INVAP S.E.
